A Romantic Summer Wedding at The Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas

There's something timeless about a summer wedding in downtown Austin, especially when it unfolds within the historic walls of The Driskill Hotel.

For this celebration, our couple embraced everything we love about the season: warm sunset tones, abundant summer blooms, and thoughtful details that honored the character of one of Austin's most iconic wedding venues. The day began with a heartfelt ceremony at Central Christian Church before guests made the short drive to The Driskill, where every historic space became part of the celebration.

The reception centered around the mezzanine, allowing the architecture and rich history of the hotel to become an extension of the design itself. Antique-inspired urns overflowing with Summer flowers lined the head table, creating a refined and contemporary focal point. Above, a dramatic chandelier installation transformed the space as cascading flowers in shades of yellow, red, chartreuse and lavenders appeared to drip effortlessly from the historic fixture, echoing the colors of a Texas summer sunset.

Rather than competing with the beauty of The Driskill, each floral element was intentionally designed to complement it. The result was a celebration that felt elevated, welcoming, and deeply connected to its surroundings, a philosophy that guides every event we design.
